Celebrating Dr. Haridas and Mrs. Bina Chaudhuri, Indian music offering with Sri Karunamayee from the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Vishal Nagar on tabla – Co-sponsored by Sur Laya Sangam Study Center for Indian Devotional Music

Sri Karunamayee and friends will offer a program of Indian music celebrating the legacy of Dr. Haridas and Bina Chadhuri. Their years of dedication through the Cultural Integration Fellowship have blessed and continue to bless so many, providing a pathway to integral spirituality and global peace.

Sri Karunamayee is a renowned artist of Indian music and a life-long sojourner on the spiritual pathway of music. Highly regarded for her deep and soul-inspiring singing, she is a dedicated member of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in New Delhi, where she has been in residence for over four decades. She supports the daily ashram meditations and special events with her music. She travels internationally offering music as a sacred pathway and as a bridge to interfaith understanding.

Vishal Nagar is one of the most gifted Tabla musicians of his generation. Son of the renowned Kathak danseuse and vocalist Vidushi Urmila Nagar, Vishal has been trained under his mother, Late Ustad Latif Khan and Ustad Shamim Ahmed Khan.
